I am an author, poetess, artist, motivational speaker, podcaster, entrepreneur, Sanskrit lover and above all,
a Spiritual seeker.
If I could define myself in one word, it would be EMPOWERMENT. Everything that I am and everything that I do, stems out of the seed of empowerment. This core has guided me from one lifetime to another and I am blessed to have finally reconnect to my spiritual guru in this lifetime and begin from where I had left. My innate spiritual energy is derived from the essence of Kali. As an ignorant naive seeker, I feared her persona and denied her presence in my life. Considering myself to be a spiritual person, I did not understand the need to connect to an image. My mistake was that I was looking at the form and image as the being and neglecting the energy that pulsated in its essence. The form is a representation for the travellers who are on a spiritual journey. They are directional signpost that remind you that you need to embrace certain energy to handle the next challenge. The idea is to seek the energy, understand the form and move on the journey of spiritual evolution. Five years back I saw a dream that reminded me that I needed inner transformation and for that I needed the energy of Kali. Women, I believe, are bestowed with the power of nature and are a manifestation of an empowered mindset, Kali. The ability to dwell into the darkest corners of the soul and eradicate the problem from the root is the honour of the female dimension within us. I also believe the time has come for women to recognise the depth of the power of their warrior soul and lead the world towards a more nurturing, compassionate, loving and healing space. I believe the energy and essence of Kali is often misunderstood. But if handled with wisdom, this energy will help you completely transform your life in the most wonderful way. I regularly speak on various platforms about invoking our warrior energy, inner transformation, and the essence of Kali.
I am the co-founder of AUTHOR IN ME, an author-centric publishing house that promotes diversity in storytelling. This includes diversity by age, colour, culture, and race. Our youngest author is aged 7-year-old. Having experienced the struggles of a first-time author, especially an author of colour, I am passionate about empowering diverse voices and giving underrepresented authors the tools and platform to showcase their work. In 2020, I was nominated for ‘Female Entrepreneur of the Year’ by Thames Business Awards and won the International Woman Icon Award 2021 for my debut book, 'The Voice of Kali'. A motivational speaker, I actively advocate the transformational power of storytelling. I am also the curator of the AIM Literary Festival, London. My articles are printed frequently in various media outlets. I am a regular column writer for iGlobal, UK. Being a firm believer in Vedanta and its application in life for self-empowerment, I invest my time actively upgrading my knowledge base on ancient Vedas and Sanskrit.
